The Monks and Knights walking tour climbs from the Tevere river bank up on the Aventino that is one of the seven hills on which Rome was founded back in the 8th century b.C., the southernmost and hardest to reach: that’s why during medieval times monks and knights built here their monasteries and sanctuaries.
We will reach the top of the hill through a panoramic path overlooking the Tevere and the City and then head on to discover more of this awesome historic place in Rome. The walk will end at the magnificent Circo Massimo.
An activity with locals from meeting to farewell.
